6th grade GT students got to play around with the MakeyMakey's on Thursday. They tested out different materials to see what would conduct energy to make their new keyboards work.

Our shop class has been busy building items for tonight’s FFA Labor Auction. We will be selling some of the bigger items in the live auction. We have several shop built items as well as donated items for the silent auction.
The meal will begin at 6:00pm with the auction to follow at the Calumet Schools cafeteria. Hope to see you there!
Our Life Skills class received basic sewing lessons from the talented Sherry Sorrels. Students had a great time learning threading techniques, basic stitches, and how to sew on different buttons. We appreciate her visiting our class and look forward to future projects!

Calumet's Student Council officer team had a blast today at the Fall D8 Conference! Our team engaged in networking with other schools, worked on team building, and got to go on a scavenger hunt in downtown OKC. We look forward to continue growing and developing the STUCO program!
