The Calumet Chieftains were honored today on both the House and Senate floors at the State Capitol for winning the State Championship. A big thank you to Representative Nick Archer for arranging a Dome tour. The boys had the opportunity to go to the top of the State Capitol and sign their names!

Due to inclement weather in February, Calumet Public Schools experienced multiple closures caused by hazardous temperatures and road conditions. To meet the state’s required instructional days and hours, these missed days must be made up.
As a result, in-person learning will be held on April 4th, April 11th, and April 18th—all of which were previously scheduled as Fridays off. While we understand this adjustment may cause some inconvenience, it is a necessary change to ensure compliance with state requirements.
We appreciate your patience during the winter closures and your continued support in prioritizing the safety of our students and staff. Thank you for your cooperation and flexibility in April as we make these necessary adjustments.
School will now be in session on the following days:

Wrapping up our March Madness tournaments in 5th & 6th grade! We have two multiplication champs — Kross & Asher! ❌

The 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade GT students competed in a Lego competition yesterday. They were challenged to identify a problem within the ocean, come up with a solution, and then build a display that showcased that solution. Their project had to have a moving part, which the students had to code in order to work. They gave their presentations in front of five judges and did an amazing job!
Our winning group was the 3rd Grade Sea Savers!
