A big thank you to Afton Jameson and her students at CV Tech! Our yearbook team got a much needed crash course in using our cameras to capture the best shots this year. The students had fun and learned a lot!

4th grade GT students got to work with the Makey Makey devices today after learning about conductive energy. We had a blast seeing how many people the energy could travel through! These devices were donated to our school by #Devon!

Monday: Dream Team – Pajama Day (wear school-appropriate pajamas) Tuesday: Seeing Double – Twin Day (match your outfit with a friend) Wednesday: Squad Goals – Jersey Day (wear your favorite sports jersey) Thursday: Orange & Black Attack – School Colors Day (rock your orange, black, & white for game day) Friday: Glow Big or Glow Home* – Glow Day (bright, loud, glowing colors) Saturday: Go for the Gold* – Gold Day (wear school colors with a splash of gold)

CARE Week Update 🧡 Our junior high and high school grades have been battling it out to see who can bring in the most items for Operation Christmas Child and here are the latest numbers.
👉 There’s still time! Students can bring items tomorrow to push their class ahead in the standings. Remember, the winning class earns an Ice Cream Sundae Party! 🍨
And don’t forget our elementary classes are collecting and competing for a party as well, so every donation makes a difference. Let’s finish strong and make an impact together, Chieftains!

The 2025 season has brought our biggest roster in history for elementary XC runners (we had 36 runners this year)!
All 3rd-6th grade runners are invited to run up Mt. Scott to celebrate the end of our season. This year we brought our largest group ever, 23 total, to complete the challenge! It is almost 3 miles to the top and it is NOT easy. We are so proud of them for pushing themselves and doing it!

Candy grams are now available to purchase for just $1 each!
🎃 Students can send them to friends, teachers, or staff, and they’ll be delivered on Halloween. Order cards will be sent home with students and can be dropped off in their school’s office.

📸 Picture Retake Day – Monday, October 6th Didn’t get your picture taken the first time, or just want a redo? All Pre K-12th grade students are welcome to retake their school pictures on Monday. Seniors will also have the chance to retake their panel picture.

Our Super Smash Bros. players traveled to Moore today for their first tournament of the season! We’re proud of the effort and sportsmanship they showed.
Coen Taylor finished 2nd in the junior high bracket. Jesse Clements, Josiah De La Cruz, and Easton Gibbins all finished in the Top 10 as well!
