Congratulations to Donna Sage for placing 1st Place in the Poetry Division of the Write to Win Contest, sponsored by the Oklahoma Writing Project. She competed against students in all class sizes across the state, and only three were chosen in the poetry division. Twenty total recipients were chosen for this prestigious award, comprising multiple genres. Her Native American poem, “She Flew For the Nation’s Pow Wow,” will be published in the “2020 Anthology of Winning Writing. She will attend the at the spring conference on March 26 at Oklahoma City University with Ms. Lippencott. Congratulations!
