The Scholastic Bookfair will be here in just TWO WEEKS!


The Calumet 4-H and FFA swine exhibitors had a good weekend at the last OCPA show of the year. Highlights include:
Maddie Whitman- 3rd Overall Novice Showman!
Presley Stilley- 3rd Overall Senior Showman!
Meghan McCullough- 4th Overall Junior Showman!
Aspen Burns- 7th Overall Intermediate Showman!
We also had several pigs place in the top 5 of their class!

The Junior High Basketball games on Monday at home vs. Binger-Oney have been moved up to a 1:00 PM start time due to Binger-Oney having a scheduling conflict on Monday evening.


There will be no school tomorrow (Wednesday, January 25th) due to the potential of poor road conditions.


There will be NO SCHOOL on Tuesday, January 24th due to the threat of inclement weather. Be safe & stay warm!


Congratulations to the West Central Tournament Champions, your very own Calumet Chieftains! They had a hard fought win over Sentinel. The final score after an OT period was 68-62!
Congratulations to Dalton Belcher who received an All Tournament honor and to Hunter Arnold who was the tournament MVP!


5 of our members attended the Stand and Deliver workshop in Norman on Tuesday. They spent the day learning how to write, memorize and present a speech. We are proud of them for stepping out of their comfort zone and signing up to give a speech this spring!


Today is National Popcorn Day & Mrs. Renbarger had a special treat for her teachers!

After completing the novel study “Holes”, the 6th graders got to create their own game boards starting from the ground up. Some created their own version of popular games and some created their own games and made up their own rules. They got to test them out today!
Lots of creativity in this class!





6th grade has started working on collecting items from all 50 states by sending emails to universities and professional athletic teams. Today they received their first package from West Virginia University!


Thank you to Mr. Young for allowing the 6th graders to come visit his AMAZING Mac Lab!
They began typing their 2nd essay for the year and it’s going to be a good one! We can’t wait to share the progress they’ve made with their writing skills!
