Students are getting ready for Red Ribbon Week 2019- This year's theme is "Send a Message. Stay Drug Free." Parents: please partner with Calumet Schools to continue the conversation by discussing this message at home.

Keep watching https://redribbon.org/contest/school/ so you can vote! Our photo should be going live soon. Thank you! Please, spread the word! Some of the schools we are up against have many more students, so share away!

Congrats to Brie Myers on placing 11th at regionals today and qualifying for state next Saturday in Shawnee.

This photo is being entered in the National Red Ribbon Week photo contest. It depicts a younger girl looking up to an older girl holding a sign that says “I am always watching.” The theme for Red Ribbon Week this year is “Send A Message. Stay Drug Free.” That message and the ribbon have to be in the photo. The balloon has a picture of a teenager who died of a drug overdose, and the older girl is holding the balloon as if it is floating to heaven. This is symbolizing that she is sending a message to the younger girl that drugs kill. Wish us luck on this contest as the winner gets $1000 and an iPad.

We are ready for Red Ribbon Week!
