🎃🕷️ Things got a little spooky in Coach Bowers’ 7th grade science class today!
Students were rewarded for their hard work with the chance to hold their classroom spider, J-LO!
Some of our Chieftains were brave enough to give it a try! 🕷️

🔥🧪 Science, sparks, and a whole lot of curiosity! ⚡
The Calumet Library brought science to life by booking an exciting Live Science Show through the Science Museum of Oklahoma! Our students got to experience an interactive presentation full of fire, explosions, amazing demonstrations, and plenty of sparks of curiosity! 🔥💥
We love giving our students opportunities to learn beyond the classroom, explore new ideas, and discover just how exciting science can be!
A huge thank-you to the Science Museum of Oklahoma for bringing the excitement to Calumet!

✌️ PEACE OUT PROJECTS! ✌️
Our elementary students had the BEST time during our Peace Out Projects! 🎉
Students in PK–6th grade got to choose a special project, activity, or game put together by one of our amazing teachers. From fire art 🔥 and bracelet making 📿 to dancing 💃, cooking 👩🍳, and exploring our interactive floor 🎮, there was something for everyone!
We love giving our students opportunities to try something new, get creative, have fun, and make memories with their classmates and teachers. ❤️
A huge THANK YOU to our staff for putting together such fun experiences for our students! ✌️📚🎨🎶

🚶♀️ NATIONAL WALK TO SCHOOL DAY! 🚶♂️
Calumet showed up for National Walk to School Day! 🎉
We kicked off our morning at the park where students got to play, laugh, and spend some time together before walking to school as one big Calumet family! 🏫
Two of our students decided to use their morning a little differently. Tandy and Brooklyn chose to clean up the park instead of playing! 👏🏼 They noticed something that needed to be done and took it upon themselves to make their community a little better. What a great example of Chieftain pride!
We are so thankful for our students, families, and staff who helped make this morning such a fun one!

Our elementary and JH cross country teams wrapped up their season Saturday morning at OBA, and what a way to finish! 🏃♀️🏃♂️ Every single runner gave it their all and collectively ran their best times of the season! We are so proud of the hard work, dedication, and growth these athletes have shown throughout the season. 🏅 Top 5: Gracelee Curtis 🏅 Top 10: Ronan Hansen 🏅 Top 20: Ryder Garrett & Arrow McDoulett Congratulations to all of our runners on an amazing season! We are so proud of you and can't wait to see what you accomplish next! Three of our runners went above and beyond to show what being a teammate is all about. They ran alongside one of our youngest runners, encouraging him and helping him make it across the finish line. Moments like these remind us that cross country is about so much more than times and places. We are incredibly proud of these athletes for showing kindness, encouragement, and true team spirit!
