Pancakes

The Calumet Community and the Calumet Chamber of Commerce are hosting a Pancake Dinner for the Baros family. We would like to help Jaime and Kaslin Baros with funds to help cover sweet Millie's medical expenses and expenses being incurred.

April 30, before going to bed, Kaslin noticed something wasn't quite right. They rushed to Integris Baptist and tried to stop her labor. Unfortunately, the twins had other plans. On Sunday, May 1st, at 7:39 AM, Millie Joann Baros was born and at 7:40 AM Carter Grant Baros was born. The twins were born at only 23 weeks and weighed 1 lb 9oz each. They were both so tiny at only 11" long! They both fought their way into this world with many complications to overcome due to being so premature. Baby Carter passed away in the early morning hours on Tuesday, May 3rd. Sweet Millie is still in the NICU and continues her fight daily! She is currently stable and fighting so hard. Millie is working on growing, lessening oxygen needs, and will have one more brain surgery.

As a community we would like to continue to support the Baros family.

We will also be having a Diaper Shower. If you would like to bring a package of diapers (size 1 through 6) we will be collecting them.
