Picture Day is coming up Thursday, September 3rd, at Calumet Public Schools!
Pictures will begin at approximately 8:30 AM. We will start with Pre-K and work our way through each grade in order, all the way through 12th grade. These pictures will be used for the school yearbook, so students should come ready for their photo!
One important reminder when choosing what to wear: Jostens uses a green screen for school pictures. Students should steer away from wearing green unless they want to risk looking like a floating head!
Senior Panel Pictures
In addition to regular school pictures, we will also take Senior Panel Pictures on Thursday. Seniors have a little more flexibility in their schedule and may come to the conference room whenever they are available during the morning.
All seniors MUST have their Senior Panel picture taken before 1:00 PM.
We will have graduation gowns ready in the conference room, so seniors do not need to bring a gown.
What should seniors wear?
* Boys: Wear a shirt and tie under the gown.
* Girls: A spaghetti strap shirt or something similar that won’t be seen under the gown usually works best.
And please make sure your hair is brushed and your face is clean. Nobody wants chocolate donut on their face for all of eternity on the Senior Panel!
When should seniors come?
Seniors can walk into the conference room anytime during the morning to have their picture taken. We know some seniors come and go at different times because of college or Tech Center, so just come in whenever you’re available.
A lot of seniors have 4th hour with Mrs. Freyman at 11:35 AM, which would be a great time to go get your picture taken.
A few important times to remember:
* Pictures must be taken before 1:00 PM.
* Photographers will take lunch from approximately 12:20-12:50 PM.
* After lunch, we’ll do one final check for anyone who still needs a picture.
There will be a retake day later, but we really don’t want to have to take Senior Panel pictures on retake day unless absolutely necessary.
Elected Senior Class Parents
We also need a picture of our elected Senior Class Parents for the Senior Panel. Please come by the conference room at your convenience during Picture Day to have your picture taken.
Senior Panel pictures are going to be displayed for a very, very long time, so seniors, make sure you get yours taken Thursday!
