Calumet FFA to Host Annual Labor and Project Auction on March 3

The Calumet FFA Chapter will host its annual Labor and Project Auction on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. in the Calumet High School Gymnasium.

This event continues to be one of the most meaningful ways our community supports the hard work and growth of our FFA members. The evening will include a catered meal, fellowship, a silent auction, and the opportunity to participate in the Labor Auction.

During the Labor Auction, community members can purchase an FFA member for eight hours of work on a mutually agreed upon day. Students are available to assist with tasks such as yard work, cleaning, babysitting, farm work, or other agreed upon projects. It is a practical way for our students to serve while also gaining valuable real world experience.

In addition to the labor auction, Calumet FFA members have built more than 30 unique shop items that will be available for purchase through the silent auction. These student-crafted projects showcase the skills, craftsmanship, and dedication our members develop throughout the year.

Funds raised from this event directly support FFA activities, including competitions, conventions, travel expenses, entry fees, meals, and other costs associated with chapter participation. The generosity of our local community makes it possible for our students to compete, grow as leaders, and represent Calumet with pride.

On behalf of Calumet FFA, we sincerely thank our families, businesses, and community members for their continued support. We look forward to seeing everyone on March 3.
