Calumet Community,

I would first like to say how honored I am to be able to be a part of a school and community with such a tradition of excellence. My family and I are excited to be a part of such a special place. I am looking forward to meeting and working with each of you.

Thank you for trusting us with your students education. Our staff has been working tirelessly to make sure that we are educating and keeping your children safe. We appreciate your continued support and encouragement. Although many of the protocols and procedures have changed to ensure a safer learning day, one thing that has not changed is the commitment to giving your child the very best education possible.

Whether attending in person or virtually our students have had positive attitudes and excitement! We currently are serving over 40 students with our virtual program. Our teachers, principals, and support staff have dedicated themselves to making our school year successful, safe, and fun. The support staff has continued to do extra disinfecting and cleaning. We are currently using hydro-static disinfecting guns to keep our facilities, buses, and classrooms sanitized numerous times a day. We have installed bottle filling stations in the high school and elementary school to limit germ spread at the water fountains. Masks are readily available for each of our students and staff. Hand sanitizing dispensers are in every classroom and throughout our facilities. Should we be forced to go virtual for stretches of time, we have technology available for all of our students. We will make this year a success!

We are excited and optimistic about our school year and serving your children. Our commitment to excellence will not change, regardless of our circumstances. Your support and confidence are appreciated!

Again, I am humbled to be able to be a part of Calumet and its rich history. I look forward to serving you for many years. If you have questions or concerns please reach out to us! We want to hear from you and work with you to make Calumet the very best school in the state.

Sincerely,

Brandon Voss
